NEWSLETTERS

The Caughley Society publishes four high quality, professionally produced newsletters a year, sent free to all members. Typically comprising 36 pages in A5 format and full colour, they contain articles written by members and other experts on all matters relating to Caughley.

Increasingly quoted as authoritative sources of information on Caughley porcelain, t
hey are a valuable resource for information and reference.  They are also used to update information in the pattern book, "Caughley Blue & White Patterns".

The latest newsletter, published in May 2024, contains articles about a modern version of the Fisherman pattern; a letter from our President, John Sandon, about his late father, Henry; a milk jug with lugs whose purpose is unknown; some misattributed items; a final report about the Caughley shards held at the Coalport China Museum; a 'God Speed the Plough' jug; a recent visit by members to the Museum of Royal Worcester; the Ovals pattern; a bowl decorated by Fidelle Duvivier; personalisation; and details of items recently sold at auction, a regular feature in the newsletter.
